I was going across country from AZ to MN and during a fuel stop I discovered one of my trailer's wheels was hanging on by a single lug nut. I have Dexter axels on my trailer and went EVERYWHERE in Ames lookin for nuts and bolts but due to it being a specialty axel no one had the parts. Arnold's was my last hope before having to run to the trailer repair place I use all the way back in Anoka, Minnesota. These guys didnt have everything I needed, but ordered the parts from other nearby locations and I was able to get the specific nuts and bolts I needed to get back on the road within three hours of them ordering the parts for me. If any of the guys who helped my dad and I out today read this THANK YOU!!! We just spent over 20 hours on the road so not having to take a 3 hour drive to Anoka and back was EXTREMELY welcome!!!

Don’t ever visit this location, Guy named Philip behind counter is not knowledgeable and didn’t want to seem to help. Furthermore I was the customer in front of him and he kept answering the phone helping others rather than putting them on hold! Totally unacceptable.

Honestly god bless everyone there they helped me out big time they went above and beyond with their customer service. Drove down from North Dakota to help out my sister with her car that had a blown head gasket and I was kinda in a rush and the turn around time and delivery was quick! I can’t thank them enough thank you guys I hope you guys have a good weekend. Bless

Awesome machine shop along with parts and paint. Went back again with some heads for my 2010 Subaru. They look great and Mark took time to answer my questions about prepping the block. Fair prices as well.

I GOT RIPPED OFF!! I had a bearing pressed into a hub a few years back and got charged $31. I thought that was very reasonable for the job so I came back recently with both spindles off of the same car. They charged me over $60 per side! My bill was over $122 in total! I brought up this inconsistency to the manager and he was IMPOSSIBLE TO DEAL WITH! PLEASE DO NOT TRUST THIS SHOP, GO ELSEWHERE!!
